Positives:
+ A very good HD picture
+ 2. HDMI output (I do not need, but nice that it's there)
+ User interface is quite intuitive and clearly structured
+ Slim design, not take up much space
+ A lot of function for the price
Negatives:
- Device reacts sometimes very slow
- Interfere with sensor buttons at the top, touching quickly unintentionally, unit automatically from
- Processing appear cheap (plastic case) that I know of Sony differently
- When selecting various services very long common reaction, could not recognize partial if the machine has crashed, pulled plug
- DLNA is a joke - access to their own files (MP4, etc.) does not work
- Update via WLAN impossible had it to Ethernet
Conclusion:
Etc. If you want to have a lot of relatively cheap function, 4K upscaling, 3D-Fi, you could keep the Sony for the right choice. But what good is a device that simply does not have the assured characteristics with which Sony advertises quite bluntly? MP4 files can not be played over the network - Is this a bug or a copy? After research on the net, the problem is woehlbekannt and unresolved for a long time. Several other things (see above) appear simply immature. The times in which Sony was a renowned manufacturer of high hocherwertiger hi-fi and TV sets, are probably history.
Result:
1. unit returns.
2. This was the last attempt with a device Sony!
