The range I have not tested, for me is not particularly necessary. It ranges from the PC (which is under the table) up on top and even a bit further away (maybe 1m away from the table).
The battery has unfortunately not kept 3 years, but only 6 1/2 months at a relatively fluctuating consumption. Sometimes I simply forgot to put the mouse out, but it was sometimes for days not used. Average I've used during the week, the mouse for as 4-6 hours, on weekends partially course more.
For me personally it is great in the hand, which I myself have fairly small hands. For people with large hands definitely unsuitable because the mouse for easy is much too small.
For this, the keystrokes are fairly gentle. The wheel is a thing apart. For me it is very good. Pressing while scrolling the mouse wheel is not easy. In addition, you can tell when you scroll, because you always have to overcome a slight resistance.
The dpi settings I want great say anything. Although my finger is on the button, I do not press them accidentally. Otherwise, just have to decide for themselves how "fast", he wants to have his mouse;)
At first I thought I did not nutz the two separate keys anyway, but now I nutz they like to in Brower for "before" and "back". Also, I nutz they played in the game that I play, for extra functions, which has also become very convenient.
I would add that the mouse (for me seen) but is relatively light and the batteries are probably the most difficult.
All in all, this is a super mouse. The only drawback for me is that you can not display how long since nor do the batteries in the theory work. For me, however, no reason to deduct a star.
