I had for many years a Sennheiser in-ear, no idea which type that sounded good and the outside noise dampened greatly.
Unfortunately, now the cables, so a replacement must be found.

I work in a concrete factory, iron bending division, with equipment volumes up to 99 dB. Wearing ear protection is mandatory.
Therefore I need nicely damped In-Ear's out there but not really. After leafing through several Herstellerseiten I once ordered this test basis and am, as feared, retracted. This may attenuate enough for trains and planes, but for the workshops does not apply.

But the sound is as usual from Sennheiser, very well, therefore an appreciation of two stars
