Dramatic and emotional

Well, who dismisses Evanescence as the mainstream is neither completely wrong nor really right there. The music has clearly developed in a different direction. Who's first album "Origin" knows probably know what I mean. If one knows yet the recordings from the old, small studio of titles like "Tourniquet" and "Imaginary", you will find this again on this CD. In addition, this CD is a bit short, a few titles would have been even allowed to install.
And that's it for now negative which me everything about this CD - and to think of this band. Amy Lee manages with her voice the feelings of the texts transmitted to and sometimes even goes beyond that. Who does not know the situations drained betrayed and lost to feel? Evanescence create it with the "Fallen" album pick up these feelings, without clarifying the questions. And that's the great thing here, because to find to try in a song answers to listeners' questions usually does not sound as credible as that which you have created with "Fallen".
As a special out tip I recommend "Tourniquet" and "Imaginary" in combination with one another. These songs are not in vain after the other on the CD and "Tourniquet" ends not by chance as "Imaginary" begins, even if the text of the two songs but is quite different.
Also really liked "Haunted" and "Taking Over Me" - both songs where you like to sing along - and possibly also along-riding).
In short, the whole disk is a huge success and is a exactly what you do not expect from a mainstream band - clean working and a great atmosphere. Just a pity that some of the songs have been re-processed only from the first album and you do not get delivered from there sooo many new things, as long as you already have "Origin".
Hopefully we may soon hear a new Evanescence.
