However, after 2 weeks of use and the permanent question, I have made the right choice or should I take it to the Samsung S2, I found my answer.
Luckily I had the opportunity to test the S2 for one day and find out the differences for me.
Insecure I was mainly through the tests that the S2 as the winner due darstellten- better performance values and a much better display.
This is based on these performance tests and synthetic benchmarks related to the applications of daily use little proved to me the direct juxtaposition.
That's why for me included mainly the subjective feelings and the display.
The first item was the operability in the foreground for me.
The Sensation has a very intuitive with the latest Sense interface (it's not because that I had used the Desire for so long). The possibility to adapt individual screens is simple and fast by the hand.
At Samsung, the roads were too long for me to individualize to the S2. It also has more to Apple Touch.
The power is in both mobile phones more than adequate. The websites are built up quickly and stuttering when scrolling are not available with many open apps.
Further attention was the display, I was spoiled by Desire with AMOLED.
The Samsung has the color-intensive display what bothered me but also with the most. The colors seemed quietschbunt and also adjust the color could mitigate only. Perhaps it is also because of the colors of the Samsung Apps has spread. This is black really black at Samsung, must be the greatest asset of the AMOLED.
The HTC was more subdued, but natural. However, the viewing angles of the S2 could not reach it.
For the HTC draws extremely fine and sharp because of the higher resolution everything. Photos and videos are a delight on the large display.
The lower resolution making the display on the S2, however chunky what the phone is rather the image of a toy.
The weight of the S2 is a dream tell the tests as opposed to sensation. But for the Sensation acts robust and wins by the higher-quality housing.
A large bag must possess for both phones in the trousers, otherwise both left out.
For the sensation (as opposed to S2) the purchase reasons were:
+ Usability / individualization
+ Resolution and sharpness of the display
+ Value of the housing
+ Less expensive than the S2
+ Display in the sun still legible
+ Availability
Speak against the sensation:
- Less RAM than the S2
- Angle-dependent display
- Higher weight
- Less power
In sum, the two do not give much, at least for the end user nothing really objective. But just the subjective impressions are often decisive for the purchase (the appearance, handling, etc.) when both devices are otherwise the same level, I am pleased to call a sensation my own happy.
A star deduction would also get the S2, as manufacturers still do not know how to make a better energy management on their feet, be it with a more powerful battery or energy-saving components. The charging cable is a constant companion!
