I use the iron for some time, had been a similar Rowenta, which had unfortunately given up the ghost after many years. Looking for an appropriate iron with removable tank, Severin was the only vendor who offered this form of steam irons. The removable tank is handy, you can do it either immediately fill the tap or using the supplied measuring cup. The filling is a bit too small, but still quite acceptable. The mentioned before in other reviews cover flap of the water tank is actually processed a little weak and gives the impression to not last long. The same problem was also at my previous iron from Rowenta, the flap is never broken, which I hope here. However, for the low price, it is really a good steam iron, which served its purpose. The laundry is effortlessly smooth, at first it smelled a bit like plastic when ironing, but this has been. Every new device has any odors during the first use. Who is looking for practical iron at a low price, is well advised here.
