** Delivery and processing **
As an accessory obtained by 9040 a narrow cup for pouring in the water and the usual rather terse manual. The Bübeleisen itself is processed very high quality. It makes a stable massive almost indestructible impression. Just the knobs and buttons appear to be very strong and durable. The cable is pleasantly long (2.5m) and jacketed high.
** Operation **
The temperature dial is super solved: the Asuwahlrad snaps pleasant and exactly. Even better, however: the current temperature selection is displayed as illuminating lettering on top of the handle, although unfortunately enormously helpful only in English, but still. There is then eg "Linen" or "Cotton".
Under the handle is a large easily accessible and operable key triggers the normal steam ironing. Only when you press the button it evaporated because it turns on the integrated steam pump. Otherwise there are the usual two (good size and easy to use running) buttons for water spray and intensive burst of steam. Intensive Steam boost I use frankly rather rare, since the normle steam is so great that you no longer need intensive steam actually.
Finally, on the subject of operation: the water filling works fine. The opening is a good size, and includes well-tight, and is designed stable. If you tilt the iron when filling slightly forward so the water runs well and fast in the tank. The overflow risk is quite low.
** Ironing quality **
When ironing quality the 9040 really stands out. The sole glides pleasantly light on the substance. The high weight ensures a guttes smoothing, the smooth sole wrinkling ideally avoids. The best but the 9040 is the steam. The integrated steam pump, the 9040 produces a very strong, intense and stable vapor. No other normal steam iron I have ever experienced such a great steam power. The sole with its many fine steam holes provides an enormously good distribution of steam. Even in front of the top is steaming still good.
Fold capitulation to intense steam very quickly. Even sensitive materials may be due to intensive steam still good ironing. From setting "wool", there is the Super steam and so I really would iron everything is sensitive, even silk and nylon. I now have several times at first tried it carefully and it works perfectly. So pleasant and well, I have never ironed delicate fabrics.
The sole has a particularly narrow überigens remote tip. This button can be gaps in shirts and blouses very good ironing. Even with small closely sewn buttons to get still good between.
** Others **
The 9040 has a very good multi-stage automatic shut-off. One must not be afraid to be iron have when times the phone rings or the doorstep. There are no unpleasant heat in the upper body area or on the handle. The iron is comfortable to hold and pleasingly light läst lead on the substance.
Curiosity on the Range: the "nose" front top can be super used to hang over the rolled-up cable when putting away :-)
** Disadvantages **
Something unpleasant to use is certainly the relatively high weight of about 2200g. However disturbs my opinion, not really and you get used to it very quickly. Therefore, I prefer it from no star. Taking the iron in his hand and puts it on the fabric you can feel the weight of something, but when ironing the heavy weight is more of an advantage.
** Conclusion **
As you can tell I'm completely satisfied with the 9040 Steamium. Just steam output and finishing quality are excellent. such a great steam there is otherwise only Ironing Stations. I would recommend the 9040 any restrictions.
