The sound quality is excellent. I connected with a Denon amplifier, itself connected with two speakers Jamo column.
It works without any problems with my phone Android HTC One and my 27 "iMac 2009 under Mavericks. Once paired once with the devices, the next time, it just enough to activate the bluetooth of the source device to that it connects to the BM10 instantly and broadcasts the audio content.
CAUTION: If you want to pair multiple devices after pairing a first apparatus, simply press and hold the center button of the BM10 so that it becomes "visible" again in the Bluetooth interface. Once paired with the second unit, it will again become invisible. To make it visible again and pair it with a third aircraft, you must repeat the procedure. I state here because the procedure is specified anywhere in the user manual.
For the technical part, the BM10 manages the aptX codec so the sound is compressed (if necessary) and distributed to 350kbps (slightly higher than the higher quality MP3 which is 320Kbps). The sound quality is quite sufficient for a Hi-Fi system and is superior compared to many other bluetooth receivers.
There is absolutely no latency (pause, play, fast forward, volume, next ...) even with 24bit WAV audio files. The scope is very good, even through mature. No interference with WiFi.
It's just like if your device is connected directly to your amp / chain Hi-Fi
Negative points:
- NFC not very developed, a little slow. However it is not very useful because, as stated above, whenever you want to play music, it just enough to activate the bluetooth on your source device and it will connect automatically and directly to the BM10 start streaming audio content.
- There has breath in the BM10, if you push the volume of your amp / chain Hi-Fi too far you will hear. It is best to lower the volume of your amp / Hi-Fi pretty low and then increase the volume of the source device (eg smartphone) to achieve the desired volume. Despite this procedure, the margin volume is quite significant before the breath is perceptible.
- No ON / OFF button, it stays on all the time.
In summary this is a great product and I am fully satisfied. Although some negatives do lose a star, they are quickly forgotten.
