Suitable is this remote control for IOS devices such as iPhone, iPad, iMac and other devices with IOS. You can use it to play music control (a song forward or backward, play, pause) Set the volume and screen brightness, turn on the screen lock, the sound issue (Mute), there is a button Home / Siri and a keyboard / Keypad and there is a button for the camera, which the plus button for the volume is the same, with which one triggers a photo.
The connection to my Ipad 2 is produced within seconds and everything works so far very good. The iPad responds immediately to any input. What does not respond, is the key for the keyboard. If this remote control is connected to the iPad, then you have no keyboard. For this, I would have thought the key for the keyboard would be there to bring out this. But do not go. No matter how often I press it, it does nothing, which I think is a shame. I also did not know what the key should be there otherwise.
Curious as I am, I've actually even tried whether this remote control can be coupled with other devices. I tested it with my smartphones (Xperia Z1 and LG G3 S) and with my notebook with Windows 8.1.
In my Xperia smartphone the music operation, the volume buttons, adjusting the screen brightness, standby and the Home button works. What's not working here, the mute button, the button for the keyboard and camera button.
In my LG music operation, the volume buttons, the standby and Home button and the camera button functions. What does not work is the Mute button, the button for the keyboard and the keys for brightness control.
On my laptop, the music service and the volume keys work. The Home button opens the browser. All other buttons do not work here.
What makes difficulties for all devices is the Bluetooth connection. If it is, it works. If one makes but Bluetooth on from the device and later on, because you want to use the remote control again, then I have in the smartphones and release the Bluetooth button on the FB press and then select the device short of the smartphone. Man must be coupled again so repeatedly. Automatically as it gets. Somewhat more complicated, it is then the Ipad. The FB is indeed to be found under Settings Bluetooth named CC remote, but connects only once again with the iPad, when the FB is to ignore, re-examined and can then pair it again. Whether that's with newer Ipads also so I can not say unfortunately.
What you need now, such a remote control? It is very convenient for example, if you do want to turn Selfies or slideshows on. Really great and convenient but I find them on the go. Who as headphones, which are not the music service is at the headphones, will appreciate the small FB. Smartphone in your pocket, headphones on her head and the FB in the pocket in his hand. No need to fumble smartphone out next time to turn a song or to increase the volume. This is all easily accessible via the remote control. And it does not matter now whether you connect the headset via phone cable to the phone or via Bluetooth. It works perfectly and there is no interference when both are connected via Bluetooth. Is at least for me that way.
Also on the notebook it is very convenient. The notebook is in the room and connected to the soundbar. Man stands in the kitchen and would turn songs on. With the remote control no longer a problem. I like it very well. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a star because the button for the keyboard in any of my devices triggers something and because of the Bluetooth connection. Here nothing connects automatically, but you have to connect manually when you Bluetooth makes up once again.
