Not for casual users due to power consumption when switched off!

The measurement accuracy is excellent and from a processing perspective, there are worse.
The big problem of the digital calipers of this type - and that's why I reduce from 4 to 2 stars - is the power consumption when switched off! There is no ON / OFF switch, but only a button that does not actually turn off the device! I have found this in several callipers of this type. After a few weeks the battery is empty, although one has the part almost not used! => One should also order the calliper equal to a few extra batteries ...
