Artistic decline of a formerly good singer

A night that never fades (Audio CD)

Customer Review

GG Anderson moved to 1998/1999 Koch Music, which meant seen his artistic decline. His music, to date refreshingly cheerful hit with partly saucy texts ("... girls like to draw to bikinis because you can dream better in them ..." [from "Girls Girls", 1986] or '... Girls licking raspberry ice cream, talking loosely boys at ... "[from" Would you have time for me today, 1988]), was always shallow, boring and softer.

It may be true probably that GG Anderson's commercial success did not diminish after 1999, but the quality of his music was strongly after. This album was the sobering Koch debut album. There are songs that are no comparison to what he did before. You hear only the old-fashioned "And if you go tomorrow" (Jeannie) to, also a class by itself in terms of boredom "And if Tirol at the North Pole would '" and "A night that never fades" where the cheap sounding intro says it all.

The admissions of the old hits "on the white beach of San Angelo", "Sommer, Sonne, Cabrio" and "Midsummer Night in Rome" have in common with the hits of yesteryear, only the texts, but do not sound half as good as then, but only boring ,

I'm sorry, but here I will give only one star.
