By comparison, the previous "Beautiful Skys" though was extremely catchy, but it drew a red thread through the album, it was bubbling under the surface and put emotions freely.
"Wish" is a compilation of pretty good songs, but it creeps me the feeling, as if the guys are limited to writing the songs and not keeping the effects of the album in mind.
And there is the art but is to create an album that seems homogeneous and varied (see "Joshua Tree" by U2, "Viva La Vida" by Coldplay or even "Dream # 7" of just Reamonn).
In "Wish" was laid too much emphasis on the quick single.
Without a doubt, the disc includes a really good song, but it lacks the connection. Add to that the songs seem overproduced and thus differentiated enough. A ballad is here just only a ballad. Where are the surprises that twists?
As an example: Listen to "Falling Down" from the previous album on and compares it with "Tonight" from "Wish". With "Tonight" Since missing the pain, the longing, even though it's really a nice song.
And in which one or another song you miss also the moment that can be the song to a classic like "Supergirl", "Life is a dream" or "Alright".
The first single "Promise" is also an example of a somewhat unimaginative guitar playing. This can the guys around Rea so much better.
But enough of the criticism. The next album is in the starting blocks and will "rock" we certainly again emotional.
