This is a reference book that will not grow weary for years. Well written (fairly well translated from the US), extremely searched (all main chapters of astrophysics are reviewed), full of examples of web references and tools of all kinds. To advise all those who want to begin to understand a little better the universe around us. When we read and reread the book one feels dwarfed the "grandiose immensity" of the cosmos. Very didactic (with question / answer - it is a book of univ without complicated formulas.!) It does not bother passionate because the book is illustrated with beautiful drawings and graphics all in color. Almost affordable price; anyway quality / optimal price. In addition, it is beautifully printed on beautiful glossy paper. We regret the softcover not very strong if we say that we often consult the book of over 500 pages!
