When designing you have to distinguish between the front and side view. The front view I find quite successful. The grip comes across as high and the control panel fits much nicer in the overall picture than many competing products. The side view like me, however, less well. This is because that at the rear side of the device is still out an approximately 10cm deep metal boxes, whereby the whole more like a built-in device acts. That does not look really nice.
The equipment I find, however in order, especially the Crisp plate is super. A baking sheet would be would not have been bad.
Service
The panel looks good, but could be a bit more intuitive. This is mainly due to the rather small display on the right is not a lot of space for information. This abbreviations or numbers often have to be used, the importance of which must then read in the manual. So you have, for example, when the defrost a number from 1 to 5 Indicate to determine to which foods they are (meat, fish, vegetables, etc.). What number belongs to which food must then be nachgeguckt in the manual or on the sticker inside the door. This is not really bad, but I would find a larger display on the all this information is displayed in plain text better. Just because the device has a really large number of functions.
Function
This is the area in which me the Whirlpool JT 469 has really convinced. Both microwave function as well as baking and steam cooking function properly. Especially the baking works great. Pizza, bread and other baked goods are hot quickly and above all crispy. It does not matter whether it is deep-frozen products to be baked, or home-made dishes that you want to warm up only again. Of course you can also raw dough for baking. The Whirlpool JT 469 then works like a convection oven.
Summary and Conclusion
Positive
+ Large oven
+ Many functions
+ Very good results
Negative
- Quite noisy
- Very difficult
- The display could be bigger and view more information
Overall I am very satisfied with the 469 Microwave Whirlpool JT. The results make up for the smaller weaknesses in the operation and the operating volume. However, I suggest exactly gauge in advance whether the device will fit in the kitchen. Namely, it is really much larger and heavier than you would expect.
