- Logitech G930: (not bad - but far, far, far away from really good, from the weight up to disconnections).
- AKG K530: (P / L Top - but of course no competition and a bit out of place in this price range).
- AKG 601: a wonderfully neutral KH who has almost convinced me more in the design - but unfortunately is half open.
- Sennheiser HD555: design technically he has not convinced me, the sound was almost equal.
- Beyerdynamic 777 Pro. 80 Ohm: Personally, I could, at least technically sound, perceive no difference, but it is of course much louder - on sources without KHV.
- Asus Xonar D1 / DX: P / L really unbeatable, unfortunately without KHV.
- Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty: I somehow did not appeal (kA why ?! ^^), although the location is really great!
- Asus Xonar Essence ST / STX: high-end, which comes at a price.

Already alone when the headset comes, it becomes clear: no unnecessary frills, just a KH, a 6.3 to 3.5mm adapter (nice screwed, not just plugged in) and the warranty booklet - thats it! Quality, not quantity ^^

++ The incredibly neutral, yet powerful, dynamic sound! Sure, the sound comes across just as clearly, loudly and neutral if, first, the source of what is good and second, the output device is strong enough for it. It should be noted is much more. nor that the KH still wonderful with my Sony NWZ-845 works - I do not fly quite the head away, to max. Volume, but not much is missing ^^ And also on the laptop makes BD a good, loud figure - thus be conditioned also available on mobile phones, a huge plus for me.
+ Good workmanship, although I would have expected a little more for the money. Since I am a layman, I can not judge whether the "guts" the money is worth it, but the cheap-looking plastic parts (ear shell and the grid things, to enger- / carry) and a headrest in leatherette seem not quite appropriate for me to purchase price , I would have liked these parts in aluminum (or similar) or higher quality fabric or leather. Whether that would have acoustic impact, of course I can not judge, but the age-old headphone my father at that time were about in the price segment and goes there / was there also in leather and aluminum ^^
+ Of 250 ohms as a spiral cable (80 Ohm is smooth), but I did personally like better (but I've also equal to a HQ 10m extension cable concerned, for the balcony, Couche etc.). Use to the cable is seated, the Pc, to about 2m, then the train is really unangenhem and Kableclip is not there (I've just taken one of an old cell phone headset and secured with cable ties on the cable - as the cable for the loop is too thick).
+ Shield is wonderful. Even if I hear even loud music, my better half can do so privacy is something else.
+ The comfort: simply wonderful (which was also with my old plan Tronic 777 the case). While there continues to be "lukewarm" ears, but it does not push and seat, thanks to the fabric upholstery very comfortable and precise fit. Even for big ears and heads (

o As I said, the listener longs for "professional" edition devices (KHV actually compulsory + equalizer) and good sources. Youtube quickly becomes an ordeal or the MP3 collection in 192 kbit is no longer sufficient to increasing demands. The KH behaves indeed always neutral, although he unleashes its potential only if the combination is correct.
o well, I think the statement "... KH are always better than headsets in the same price range!" not always true. This statement may be partly true in low and middle price segment, because since the device harmonize quite well with onboard solutions and all segments: namely a lump sum and so, but "good" play music, games, movies. But once you venture into the "high end" Gefielde, one quickly, that one for each genre can indeed select pre-programmed but of course different profiles / should be able to enjoy the genre perfectly able. And it's betsimmt also not for everyone to get involved in this tonal neutrality and clarity! For me, it took a few days and a lot of good intentions to abandon the now prevailing, bassy audio impression (Movies, Games, Music ...) and get involved with the BD. Initially, I found the Logitech G930 or the cards of Creative much more "natural" and dynamic. Only after a while I realized that just at selfsame Gamerperiferien any nuances, details and facets are brutally "überbrüllt" from bass - what "fat" sounds and what I had already alarmingly accustomed me! But in hindsight I now enjoy the "world as it really sounds" more so and will probably never have recourse to gamers hardware. So Attention: Anyone who has ever admitted it is, barely be satisfied with less and it can / will in the long run become an expensive hobby ^^
o the BD has time to coalesce. The first hour. I always had the feeling that the sound did not come to me from straight but minimally the left side was louder, I could then in the sound card, Balance menu, adjust. But as I said, that has died down and now the sound is really perfect.

After several weeks of tests, many Rezesionen, some journals and personal impressions, I have finally found my winners,: Beyerdynamic 770 Pro 250 Ohm + Asus Xonar Essence ST!
To put it in a nutshell: yes, the difference onboard vs. soundcard or low, middle or high price is immense and especially audible - the KH gets me 4 star, simply because little things like the huge, many plastic parts, the missing cable clip ... the otherwise perfect impression but a little murky! But who wants to be received by the sound, no matter what area and a good sound card vorrausgesetzt, no compromise and is ready to invest money in this area, will not regret it!
From my side very strong buy recommendation made in Germany!
