The preparation was simple, TV flipped up 4 screws in the foot and TV and and TV - ready. I can not imagine that this someone has problems.
Of course you have to be in pairs, since the bulk of the TV and about nearly 30 kg require.
The initial installation is somewhat longer lasting (DVB-S - Tuner, DVB-T set Tuner etc ..) but also worked without any problems.
On the contrary, I was surprised, since, for example ORF1, ORF2, ATV, were Puls4 equal classified in the first place.
I just had the CI + HD channels (since I no CI + module have) move backward, move a few other channels and the transmitter installation was finished.
When I hear that others have to dub the channel list on the PC or the complexity of the operation on TV, I am more than satisfied.
The switching times take a bit longer, but even though I have a Technisat twin tuner HD receiver, in which I am very spoiled in this regard,
I'm going to the TV for normal TV - use receiver.
The EPG also works very well, there are vertical and horizontal channels visible the timeline with several broadcasts.
When Technisat I see only one show per channel at a time, which is a point for the TV.
In normal TV mode, pressing the Info causes - key an immediate Broadcast description.
Recordings I have not tested, I'll hardly vewenden because Sharp uses a proprietary format, so I will continue to use my receiver for TV recording.
Incidentally, I use a Technisat (Cryptoworks- CI Module) for ORF card.
Teletext - yes, I use still love - is very comfortable. One has the option of either whole screen or half / half, one can quite comfortably scroll through the subpages. There are also all the pages stored and immediately accessible.
The HBB TV features I could so far not test because my wireless client (connected via LAN to the TV) works very badly. I have already ordered another and will then report where appropriate.
The TV is, as already mentioned, matt gloss. He is not as dull as my old 55 inch TV, that is, it reflects something more than I expected.
But this display is currently "faintest" with the one that is currently available.
Because I have a big patio door front in the background and on the side, a matte screen for me is very important.
Finally, the reflections are not bothersome for me.
My second choice, an LG LED TV The 2013 generation is reflected more and on the other hand, a plasma TV is a pure mirror.
The picture is in my opinion, very good - very sharp - watching football is due to the real 100 Hz (200 Hz Motion Rate) no problem, there are no streaks visible.
There is plenty of screen settings.
Image problems such as banding, Clouding etc .. I have not noticed, even though I have paid close attention (also in light or dark einfärbigem wallpaper). Test image I have, however, none started.
Sound is better than expected (for normal operation perfectly adequate), and if I want to have good sound on the surround - Listen receiver.
Usually we hear about the TV.
The operator menus are in my view clearly and self-explanatory, you can operate the TV without reading the instructions easily.
There is also always meaningful indications from the menu what each setting does.
Me personally bothers that the TV only a Scart - has interface (which is probably a minority - problem) because I still have an old S-VHS video recorder would like to connect to view my old SVHS videos, furthermore a PS2 , But this is easily solved by a Scart distributor. Currently, however, all have TVs only max. a SCART interface, so far this is completely normal.
An HDMI - connections I have the surround receiver, Blu-ray players, satellite receivers and PS3 connected. Everything works fine.
3D I can not test at this time because I get the 3D glasses only.
I have an original 3d Sharp - ordered glasses to about 35 euros and a further Sainsonic 3d - glasses for Sharp to about 12 euros for the test. (These are the lightweight Rainbow glasses)
If Sainsonic - glasses work, please send me some to me.
The Internet functions I could only test short because my wireless client - as mentioned above - does not work particularly.
I had brief access - the apps out there are really very interesting, the normal browser I'll hardly use because of the PS3 is much more comfortable (and I've hardly used). I use since prefer an easy tablet or notebook.
But I think that generally no TV regarding Internet could satisfy me.
Here the TV is actually on the second day the same crashed because in between the Internet connection has collapsed. This app and the TV has crashed, which was solved by switching on and off with the remote control.
Furthermore functioned even when you turn the display info not let the TV Although normal use - but you did not see any indications of channel or volume etc .. After switching off and on that was over.
Otherwise went so far everything easily.
The Media Player - skills were also tested,
So far I have discovered a format that he could not play.
The clarity of the displayed media bothers me a bit, since display eg recorded home video movies in a row. You have to scroll a long time until you get to the last movie. But I think this is just a blemish.
Overall a very good TV which has convinced me in every respect (the Internet functions even left out).
Addendum:
Today I measured the power consumption:
In standby - mode 4-7 watts in Eco mode 80-90 watts, 145 watts in dynamic mode (Eco Mode is for me more than enough, I look only in Eco mode).
There are user modes that lie in between.
Furthermore, I have received today the mentioned 3D glasses (Original Sharp an3dg20b), (via ebay to 33.50 euros ordered).
This function properly, are relatively light, the comfort is okay.
What bothers me a bit longer than expected, the flicker is (also outside the image)
I have a 3D - DLP projector because I feel absolutely no flicker, though he shut tert 120Hz.
I may have to get used to it yet.
Once I get the "cheap" 3D glasses, I will report whether they fit well.
The 3D effect is very good, ghosting I have so far noticed no, the 2D-3D conversion works very well.
What surprised me is that the brightness hardly decreases;
you can also easily see in daylight (also with the way open terrace doors), which is rather difficult in 3D beamer.
Last Update:
I have the "cheap" 3D glasses "SainSonic for Panasonic / Sony / Sharp / Toshiba / Samsung / Hisense TVs 3D Active Glasses
"Ordered, price was about 13 euros, now they cost about ebay 16,70 Euro.
And yes, they work. They are small and lighter than the original Sharp glasses, it lacks the side panel, which does not bother me.
The 3D effect is the same as in the original 3D glasses
Especially for the price they are quite a recommendation, I'll sell my Sharp glasses and buy myself a couple of glasses.
I have long considered myself now to devalue the TV to 4 stars,
As for me, now the TV is already crashed a couple of times.
In principle, I know this problem from my old TV not, but who had also built a computer.
But what is the alternative? with other TVs (especially with my alternative - TV LG 60 LA 6208, of this reflects still strong) we read of the same bugs,
therefore I will stay at the 5 stars (4.5 of 5) ie. just. 5
Furthermore, in my view, be resolved by the new updates (as of January 2014) the most problems,
and I must say rightly that I most had not.
