- Fast intuitive operation.
- Voice control.
- Speakerphone
- Advanced Traffic without needed Internet on cell phone
My first impressions after a week:
- Start-up quick and easy.
- Intuitive operation. But as soon as you go into the settings, you can not look through first. However, a satisfactory function is heavily dependent on the correct settings. Does not allow you, for example, U-turns, so can the considerable detours bring about, if you pass on a turn.
- Graphics: On the 6 inch device I find it quite well. The resolution indeed weak but OK. Brightness is good, but why has the Navi please no light sensor? An automatic switch according to time of day and on the map recorded Tunnel I think is not a good solution. Were some situations where I've missed that.
- Routing: Very first route went quite backfired. Since then, however, has been satisfactory.
- Route determination: Highly recommended with the fastest route. Other possible settings are rather funny.
- Route view: Not so great. If you want to view eg remaining kilometers and still required driving time can (for me the default), this is possible but you have to extra large gray boxes with traffic information einblenden.Sieht not look very pretty. Here Becker was in my view a total of more structured from the display and in particular in the distance to the next turn also much more accurate. - Speed control: totally annoying. It beeps persist, since these effects even at 1km / h above. 'However, the beeping can not kindly issue, the road signs with the speed limit.
- Radar Info: Totaler scrap, as far as mobile surveillance! Reports partially over 5 km without (!) But that the measuring points are displayed here and disappears for short of locations at which flashed repeatedly for years. - Traffic information: hitherto little experience, an accident in the city was displayed correctly. A displayed congestion at an intersection was not available. Have this Navi also bought so that I get not only TCM information but get over digital radio traffic updates every 2 minutes. Let's see how that works out for traffic jams and blockages on the highway.
- Handsfree (one of my main reasons to buy): Not at all satisfactory! Volume in the car ok. But the Navi and thus the micro are just on the windshield. And even at slow speeds and even road I am in my golf very badly to understand even if I speak loudly. At the traffic lights turn again to some extent. That should be in any one reason to buy!
- Voice control: I really like. Fast Reaction. If one looks but a name from the phone book so this is often misunderstood and Navi selects partially without prior notification of the contact immediately -> Very annoying! Are you a just a street and a city that is obtained nonsense. It must be given ALWAYS a house number. The Navi is not able to take the middle of a street as the destination point. One of three trials is also misunderstood, despite loud clear speaking.
- GPS: is found quickly, route finding is also liquid. I like it.
- Handy integration: About Bluetooth very simple. However Advanced Navifunktionen over Internet mobile phone to use I personally absolutely unnecessary. If I wanted that, I'd use the phone directly for navigation. I need for hands-free.
POIs: Initially was all with restaurants etc .. Until I fully totally annoyed off all POI ads. Now OK. If I now I can, for example, need a gas station on voice control to select the appropriate category and get a hit list with distances and can hinnavigieren directly to an address.
