The rubber pad is bonded and edged further up and down, so that it can hardly be solved or slipping. The relatively hard rubber has in me, unlike in the product photo, a honeycomb pattern, no longitudinal grooves. The thickness of a shoe is a centimeter and thus does not take much span away. Two magnets are sunk at a distance of about 6 centimeters in clean aluminum, unlike on the product photo with the continuous magnetic. Unfortunately, my vice precisely at these points the easy recessed retaining screws for the hardened jaws and thus this soft shoe will slip slightly to the side. However, the magnets and the friction between the jaws (aluminum on steel) are strong enough that the normal does not happen.
The value for money I find extremely good and for that there is a clear recommendation for those who are tired of always dazwischenzupfriemeln something when clamping sensitive workpieces.
