The story for me is not gone recently decisive, however, was appealing prepared and not too complex. But has really captivated me not. [SPOILER] The aim is to save Lightning (from FF13) of Valhalla, which wants to prevent Caius to save the innocent visionaries Jul. Trying a twist in the plot (Serah also has the ability to see into the future) is somehow swept under the carpet and brought out again at the end of the final sequence. Very strange. [\ SPOILER].
The combat system has little or no changes. What's new is that you can tame monsters, so they are fighting with a. But you Unless ago to defeat the extremely strong opponent in side missions, you can just any monster that you have tamed random level up, and use. One could say positively that the choice of the perfect monster you can make complicated, but not necessarily.
Also positive, I noticed that you can switch between levels also reasonable now, so you can avoid lengthy struggles (In FF13 I have partially 20 minutes completely unrelevaten battles wasted). I have of course not been tested, but I think that you can get through the game between levels with very little, if you want to avoid it.
The pulley system I find a little strange. The Crystarium (comparable to the Spereboard from FF10) is initially very unüberlichtlich because the fields all roles consecutively appear in the graph. In addition, it seems to be of little relevance, what role you level up exactly (the Strategy Guide gives you information).
Graphically I was hardly convinced the game. The cutscenes are nearly all in-game graphics (hence only one game disc). Unfortunately, these jerky easily in many places and unsightly sawing edge shadows are partly noticed. By rendering the cutscenes would have (with more development effort) can be prevented.
Enthusiasm has generally not triggered in me the game. The long-term motivation I do not feel. Maybe I play a bit of side missions, but me reinzuknien again for tough opponents, it I have no desire. For the main plot the currently well 20 are certainly not too much.
