Thus I forgive first 3 stars on the luminosity, 2 further I would forgive if they min. Two years fulfilled their services ........ longer would of course be even better. My previous energy-saving lamps with mercury, rendered their services from 2 years to even 6 years. Disadvantage, the older the longer it takes until the brightness is reached. Therein lies the advantage of the LED, it immediately brings all the brightness when you turn.
A. Use
Notices of use "only in enclosed spaces" or "indoors only" ...... An outdoor lamp I personally regarded accordingly as well as space on when the LED is protected, that is surrounded by a glass enclosure or the like what they before water contact (rain etc.) protects.
B. lifetime
So a lamp pays for itself actually only when it fulfills its task over a longer period. What you get here, and generally to read in other reviews, they usually serve their purpose with respect to the illumination quite good, but the service life is often very poor this way. What you should know in order to increase the lifetime: 1. Do not short-term within seconds one after the other on / off switch 2. The LED screw when the circuit is interrupted, otherwise they could be immediately broken and flickers only a few times, or you reducing at least the life of up to 90% thereby. I personally would like to see that attention is drawn to the packaging it, because who knows! Furthermore, would Poltik which has implemented the energy transformation, demanded time to make manufacturers here mandatory guidelines that the durability eg min. Is 2 years guaranteed authentic. At the moment we're the Leittragenden towards the industry, we want to save and are environmentally conscious and they bring products to the market, which they get paid well, but partly barely count and Beweißpflicht use is then also at the customer, which is probably is difficult to prove. Thus, the manufacturer and the customer benefits will foot the bill. That's what I call a really successful energy policy, but starting not thought through.
C. I have my LEDs dated and am curious in terms of life. If anyone has experience in this regard, which min. go more than a year use addition, better even longer, I would be grateful for a return info.
