I have read many reviews of many LED cookers - the conclusion was that someone always had something written by a chemical taste. I gave away this cooker and boiled before giving away a total of about 10 times. Once with Spüli (stupid idea, incidentally ;-), even with a cleaning rod and once with a descaler - it had in fact been sold lime visible right after the first boil. Despite all efforts, the water still tastes the same as after the first cooking process. Maybe some people are not as sensitive to the taste and it all depends on what you ultimately use the boiled water. The stove looks very nice, just the light of course is a looker, but I would buy from my experience for myself no LED maker. Apparently it has something to do with the processing. I have a good 0815-Plastic-cooker, add no taste.
