The opinions are going as usual apart. Is that too much Pop / Commerce? The favorite word of some .....
I say no.
One complaint I would have would be that the album was put to me too much for live concerts / produced in my opinion. You can hear it very often turns out a clear drums.
But this just my personal opinion.
The overall impression is still very positive.
Since I am more on the rapid and somber songs, there are but a few delicacies to report.
'' The war between us '', '' Fire in the Distance ',' Your God '' and '' Guilty '' which in '' Behind the Mirror '' reminds me. This is the first personal highlights. In between times a runaway case with which I can not begin much.
After the very successful ballad '' The rain is falling '' my taste to 100% is taken again.
'' I am the fire '' fast driving the number but to be honest would have fit well to Unheilig in earlier times by the sound.
My two highlights of the CD now follow in quick succession.
'' Holy Blood '' of the subject certainly nothing new only lyrically somewhat differently packed, but the most aggressive of the CD number. Futurepop meets Industrial. Ingenious chorus Female Choir in the background. Typical fast Blutengel song, goes in the direction of '' life judges '' a song of the last album.
'Ashes to Ashes'' so far still a great song and a good first single.
Who has the Deluxe Edition, still gets to some bonus tracks. '' Stay (with me) '' in a different way. You get to hear dubstep and the chorus and it is sung here, reminds me for some reason to the 90s as the techno scene still trembled and the whole Euro Dance was current.
People with the last album Monument should not have fallen, will find their luck omen not as I think there musically goes in a similar direction.
Although it probably. for some it is all supposed to have become a little more pop, the beautiful dark robe is preserved and there is plenty of variety on offer where everyone can pick out his favorites. Some more the others less.
Just by listening to and only then! Rate ;-)
