Hymns! Profundity! Rihanna!

I think it's not unusual to find Rihanna and Coldplay well, so I think at their joint song "Princess of China" also nothing wrong, quite the opposite: for me this is a highlight of the album! Perhaps it is the most uniform, catchiest Coldplay album yet. The debut Parachutes was melancholy and then Coldplay were not so present. Even though I've only asked the first single "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" if the band has always been so boring, she told me then but fell rapidly and in the context of the album the song exudes a lot more, though not so very like the song about "Paradise" - an anthem of stadium proportions! By itself like me songs like "Violet Hill", "The Scientist" and "Do not panic" (the title is a joke on the name of celebrity children? :-)) Better than most songs on Mylo Xyloto, as a unit on the CD grab the songs but very well into each other and so the music is then best: part at a time. Nice idea in the booklet: the stamped letters, something amazing has no download version!

Would also be a good album, if only "Paradise" and "Princess of China" would be it!
