On CD, the 17 tracks present as a continuous mix that, ausreizt 78 minutes that fit onto a disc until it stops. Who will download the album in the relevant download stores, gets the 17 tracks individually - and in some cases much longer. So comes the so-called "digital version" at a whopping half hour more run time than the CD version. Depending on the store is a small fee of CD mix also to have as a continuous bonus track. So you get a lot more downloads for your money!
In contrast, the classical advantages of a physical sound carrier including booklet speak for the CD (where there is also on a nice pdf-version at download purchase) - and in the deluxe edition of course the bonus DVD.
So spoiled for choice!
