After 2 months of use now I allow myself my first sentence:
- Performance
The power of the console is satisfactory, most games can be presented in 1080p. In rare cases, the game only has a native resolution of 900p. This I do not want to renounce native pixel mapping, I'm glad that so obviously has no major problems the PS4. Many of the titles only run at 30 FPS, that is for me not zwansgweise a point of criticism. A sports game or shooter should 60FPS have, in a rich RPG but me 30 FPS.
Overall, I am satisfied with the performance.

- Controller
The controller is ergonomically improved compared to DS3. The dimensions have a total of a bit larger, but you are still holding on unsymmetrical layout, so are unlike the XB1 controller when not playing the thumb on the same level. The analog sticks have not much grip, the material also appears to wear off relatively quickly. The trigger keys have a good pressure point, the stroke of the shoulder buttons is smaller than the XB1 gamepad. Overall, I'm not really convinced of the controller, the material used affects not very high and I can perceive a plastic creaking in the use frequently. I hope Sony with respect to the analog sticks and the build quality still nachbessert, currently the Controller for me the biggest negative point of this game console.

- Volume
The console is a bit noisy, especially when compared with my recently sold XBOX-One (which was very quiet).
As soon as my audio system is activated, which falls no longer particularly significant. Without other ambient noise the PS4 is locatable but always in the living room, even if it is just in the main menu.

- Online Service (PSN)
To use the various multiplayer title is now, otherwise than at the PS3, a PSN subscription notwending. This can usually buy for 40 (annual subscription).
The subscription allows not only the activation of the multiplayer modes, each month also obtained 1-2 Free Games (eg Injustice or Infamous) and special discounts on the games in the PSN Store.

- Design
The console has a very compact housing and has a modern appearance through the angled design. The design fits very well in the rest of my HiFi furniture and is not going to be noticeable.

- Price-Performance
In my case, effective 315 console is extremely inexpensive.
The graphics performance is like a 7850 and a comparable gaming PC would cost about 450.

Overall rating:
I am generally satisfied with the console. Previously i have 1 year XB1 used, which could not satisfy me completely.
There indeed the periphery (controller, Kinect) was very good, but the performance just enough, the standard resolution of 900p XB1 is, at 60 FPS are even mostly 720P (PES, COD, Battlefield).
Had the DS4 a better layout and would be better handled I would give the console due to the very favorable in relation to the transaction purchase price 5 Stars.
