The adapter is detected by Windows 8.1 64bit right away, only included those provided by Microsoft, generic driver is no way to activate the Force Feedback function. In many games to work up to FF everything (eg Castle Crashers, Broforce, Gang Beasts), but in some the direction of the analog sticks is inverted (eg "Tiny Brains", the fourth controller is not detected), or are not even identified (Speedrunner , Battleblock Theater).
For me, the adapter and the ancient controller is only used when 2 controllers are no longer sufficient.
That it can not be on the adapter shows a test with the X-Box 360 controller emulation "x360ce" in which one can test the force feedback function at least. Unfortunately, this emulator has not been updated again for over a year and completed the project probably ...
On the website of the distributor you can indeed download a driver but it is for Windows XP.
If there were current driver with Force Feedback support, there would be 5 star, so it is not available in some songs a little gambling, whether it really does everything.
Nevertheless, the product is highly recommended!
Edit: Some games that are denied the service completely to persuade by means of "x360ce" for cooperation. Simply copy the x360ce.exe in the directory of the game start, configure, save configuration, start the game, have fun.
Force Feedback unfortunately still does not respond, except for the test in x360ce.
