I used tablets now for 7 years in the private sector and thought recently it would slow times at the time for an upgrade. After much deliberation, I have now decided to use the new Wacom Intuos Pro M as my 4tes Wacom tablet and have to say that I do not regret it at all. At the beginning I was a bit put off by the negative comments about the strong, artificial odor, and rapid wear of the pen tips by the rough surface, which is why I'd like to say especially in this. In addition, this tablet for me was to compete with the new Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch. Because I do not trust exclusively to comments because of too much subjectivity, I have seen and tried both devices in our store, and had fell in love with this version. The rough surface is not noticed immediately, not until I had it at home compared with a previous version, I could feel the difference. Whoever therefore is worried can rest assured, it's not as bad as it is sometimes alleged! The tablet is with me for about a week consistently for drawing in and use my first expression is as good as not worn, if at all. In addition, from the beginning, a lot of replacement faces available. Nevertheless, one notices, especially if one is a smoother surface usual that the pen does not "slide", but is marked by a slight resistance. And again I have to say that this is fully in order. The pin is, in my opinion, well in hand and working in combination with the tablet takes place smoothly and very precisely. In addition, the not completely smooth surface allows for stable operation. To smell I can only say that I had no problems with it. Both in the store, and at home I have an extra smelled on both devices and can not find anything. Before sending back so, I would prefer to leave the Tablet 1-3 days and "ventilate". Another point on which I would like to address is that I have noticed the difference between my previous 1024 and 2048 pressure levels immediately. Lines appear cleaner and different levels of pressure are more to identify and implement. There is definitely a big plus. The functionality itself, I must not say much, as other comments have dealt with this at some length. My goal was to respond to negative comments to make skeptics like me who maybe unsettled to calm.
