My old TV was a 80cm LG LCD TV that had already 4 years under his belt and is me unfortunately too small. The new LG I could buy in the 42 "version for 360, after I had just compared prices.
The LG is indeed advertised with 100Hz MCI, but as in most cases they are only "real" 50Hz, so for films (24Hz) and the PS4 (50Hz) still sufficient.
The structure was self-explanatory and easily done with 4 screws. It is also alone feasible. I think it's just unfortunately suboptimal that the feet that are not gathering dust fortunately, so far mounted externally (One has therefore at least a 95cm long table possess). Therefore, the TV is currently at an angle to the TV bench and it must have a new, longer table ago.
According to the picture, I have a rather black TV expected. But the TV has more of a dark gray, which still looks chic.
Let's talk about the operation:
-The TV has a small joystick, which allows you to operate the menu and with just that you can also turn on the TV at the bottom.
-The Station sorting is not optimally solved but I could cope in quite quick time anyway
-The Complete menu design has not changed in size with LG in the past 4 years. It is modern in any case, but in many places is not perfect to use.
-The Remote I find a bit too easy and it is not good in the hand. Some buttons are difficult to achieve, because you would have understood the second hand to take. When you press the buttons, also comes always a small mechanical tone which was not disturbing.
-The Switching between channels via satellite reception are ok. Not as fast as I know it from other televisions, but much faster than my old SD receivers.
For image:
-When LG it is always nice to see how great is the potential of view through the IPS panels. Regardless of where you look, there is always the same picture.
LG has always incorporated test images in the software to perfectly adjust the image. You can also use the Picture Wizard menu, which allows you to easily set the correct image.
-I Would say, the black level is ok. Not bad, but not good either. For this price you can not expect as much also. Unfortunately, there is in this regard not so many options.
-The Image generally like that. Movies are great to look at and can gamble well be so on the connected PS4. It must be held no input lag.
-especially The colors I like in this TV.
He has not -Clouding in dark images. However, I notice that almost completely white images the illumination varies greatly fails. This can be seen only on images that are bright and consist of at least 80% of a single color.
Mir is noticed that the sharpness setting is somewhat difficult to do. You can adjust this from 0-50, however, the picture is hazy at 7 and at 14 you can already see stairs (but only when the connected PS4 than if the anti-aliasing would be turned off.)
For sound:
-The Sound is hollow, the speakers are mounted below.
-What's Nice is that you can get to hear some bass.
-Fürs Gambling is the Sound Mode "standard" most appropriate and not how to think, the mode "play".
I will, however, to buy a sound bar with subwoofer. These are available from LG from 130th
Conclusion:
For 360 of the TV is good in my eyes. A good sound can be found in most TV sets that are so thin, not. The picture is good. The external design of the TV's is modern and I like that. The feet are too far for me outside, but there should myself make before thinking about it. Menu guidance is not the best, but it is nevertheless clear. Remote control is not top, but you can live with it.
For TV-movies, to gamble and for watching movies suitable.
