The BackBeat headphones FIT offers its high quality and exceptional battery life (more than 8 hours of stereo playback or 6 hours of telephone communication). It is in one piece; we attach the ends around each ear, which gives it excellent stability. The controls are reduced to simpler: a large button and a little on each ear, which still allows access to all the functions (play / pause, back / forward, volume +/-, phone on / off , battery info). FIT uses voice prompts for its notifications (Power on, pairing, paired, connected phone, etc ...) The right atrium microUSB connector hidden behind a captive component for recharging. The headset comes with a USB-to-microUSB cable very short and a neoprene cover color matching, which turns to be transformed into armband for iPhone (it is exactly the size of an iPhone 5)
Pairing with a phone (iOS or Android) is simple and fast. When pairing, the iPhone offers to install the free application which allows Plantronics to update the headset firmware. On iPhone, the battery level is remembered by a small lamp to the right of the Bluetooth logo. On Android, a free application offers the same service.
The sound is very good, especially considering the fact that the FIT is a helmet designed for use during sport and resist perspiration.
Excellent battery life, sound quality, and a cuff included in the price: this headset is perfect for sports, but even if you are not attending gyms, it has a lot of qualities and I recommend it.
