I bought this disc to replace the conventional hard drive on my macbook pro (2010).

There really was a gain in performance and speed (start of the OS, opening applications, OS closure ...).
The laptop is now silent supplement.

Installation is very easy, whether in a mac or a conventional PC. Tutorials are available on the net.
For a replacement on Mac, you can use Carbon Copy Cloner software.
