The Bluetooth works more or less well, with connecting steps that can take much more time than expected. In fact to date impossible to make it work with laptops, Mac and two latest generation of PC. Although they have fully recognized the Phillips Bluetooth device and after the configuration of audio parameters computers, no sounds from the BTM2280 whereas it nevertheless shows clearly be connected via Bluetooth. However no problem to connect mobile phones and an iPad.
The sound quality is good for a device of this size / price although this high volume distortion is more than obvious.
The CD player is decent but not the strong point of BTM2280. All controls are placed on the upper part of the apparatus, their use becomes almost impossible if the string is set high and the remote control becomes essential. Similarly to the USB drive that does not display the Titles / Tracks / Artists façade, which is a major weakness of the system. We must be content with a simple type of digital display TRACK 1, 2, 3 ... which is very disappointing even for a micro-chain of the prize (one is in 2015!). Beware also of USB formats as FLAC and AIFF are not passed. No problem with MP3 compression standards.
Can also be used as a clock radio with its timer function.
A good buy if you are looking for a simple mini-chain and sober aesthetic.
