I can only confirm the enthusiastic opinion of those who came before me and will therefore not dwell more on the plot. This novel is actually worth a visit and did not usurp its title of best Swedish novel of the year. It is both a great detective story with a surprising ending -while you think you know a part of the solution from the first pages-, real characters and endearing -on has at times like living the pain never off Julia, the mother of the little boy disparu-, a wonderful description of the Oland island atmosphere, the haze chill you through the pages.
