Positive:
Faster load times (cloned with Wizzard Disc HDD) start time to 3 sec shorter before 35 sec after 32 sec.
Rest is subjective faster but was not measured.
No "extra" noise when accessing the hard disk
Negative:
By 7200 / min rotation noise (noise vibration) are very noisy. This drown out my CPU fan killed Felt triple.
This small touch netbook these are extremely transferred.
Old hard drive is a Seagate 250 GB and 5400 U / min - minimum drive noise.
By heating the hard disk or higher power consumption and the CPU fan a lot more turned-loud with me.
Conclusion:
Suitable for desktop PC yet enough quiet for Slent Pcs.
Suitable for innately loud notebook that reminds the sound not so.
Not suitable for Silent notebooks or ultra-small notebooks that incorporate cushioning no special disks.
Previously had a 1 Platter Western Digital Scorpio Black WD2500BEKT installed with my brother in law (see Rezesion) this is around multiple quieter - unfortunately was not available on Amazon so this attempt.
