With wrenches, drills and similar tools buys "man" indeed like something better, so you have time it. With comparatively mundane tools like an air pump awareness of the long-term value of a quality tool is but somehow much less present. That's really a shame because then large sections of humanity beating in this regard around with cheap plastic junk, the one thing does: bad mood.
The coming in of Joe Blow, whose name has to serve like for ribald jokes over and over again in cycling circles, not determined. Thanks to the signal color it is easily found in the basement or garage. The solid metal base makes it very tip over. Cleverly placed brackets hold the pressure hose when it is not needed and thus also facilitate the transport.
The sufficiently large pressure gauge is fairly accurate and easy to read. A target value is set at the scale, but adjusted for my taste a bit too easily.
The massive and highly stable valve head holds on almost any valve fixed properly. However, the head turns valves in cramped spaces and hard to reach sometimes as a bit too bulky. The large locking lever is also very stable, but a little stiff.
The pumping power is beyond doubt; even high tire pressures are set up with a couple of effortless trains. If need be, the Joe Blow even step in as a substitute for straight intangible Dämpferpumpe sometimes.
Thanks to various, sent and handles horse mounted on the pump adapter attachments can inflate with this pump pretty much everything that a valve has. Large volume mattresses or inflatable boats I would but then filling rather with another device.
Conclusion: Who buys this pump here who has what for life. The manufacturer has also wear parts individually. Processing and performance deserve full five stars, the price / performance ratio is superior from the discounter despite ca four times the price of its competitors. As always, just also here: Who buys cheap, buys twice.
