A poetic novel about a painful subject. To read!

Taken from his personal history, Mathias Malzieu, singer of Dionysos in this novel tackles a difficult subject: mourning. Mathias lost his mother. In the car park of the hospital where his mother has just spent the last moments of his life, he meets with to be very particular: a giant is said ombrologie doctor, that is to say, he heals the hearts of those who are afflicted with grief that he relearn to live.

A novel full of poetry, humor and fantasy on such a dark subject and personal is really a tour de force. A story where the puns and images enchant us.

A story in story form a little dark in the style of Tim Burton.
With his particular writing Mathias Malzieu comes to putting words on painful feelings, to verbalize emotions and talent, for me, lies in this. Indeed, who has never had trouble saying in words what he feels, to communicate to others the strength of his feelings? With its colorful style the author has managed to ... hat!
Everything is there: the void that is felt after the loss of a loved one, loneliness, confusion, jostling memories, happy memories which become painful with the absence and then return to life bit pretty ...
A beautiful novel in the original pen with a special atmosphere, an enchanting novel despite the subject.

I also read "The mechanics of the heart" by the same author but I preferred this one.
