Elaborately in email box, wrapped in printed paper, as if I unpack an iPod, the exterior makes a good impression. The razor itself has a pleasant weight and the joint a slightly stronger resistance than other razors. If you, like me, tends to impose a little stronger when shaving, this is not so bad.
I have very strong beard, in which even the top dogs can be uncomfortable ever. In addition, I propose that the shaving cream itself with a brush and let act this some time before it goes off.
For the first shave, I have a half by Shave Lab and the other half with the Wilkinson Hydro 5 Power shaved. Both with a fresh blade.
During Shave Lab glides almost by itself and very pleasant on the skin, I feel at Wilkinson unfortunately a thing or tearing and pulling. Shaving with the Shave Lab is very pleasant even without "Power" function. The 6 narrow blade must be rinsed regularly, but that should be obvious.
The results speak for themselves, at first glance both shaves are pretty much the same, with the side of the face that has been shaved to the Shave Lab, is pleasant to the touch and clean looks and feels better.
The second shave I have designed similar, but exchanged the Wilkinson razors Gillette Pro Glide against the Power, but the blade was not quite fresh, but the aloe strip shone still green. Here, the same result became apparent as the first shaving of SHAVE LAB shaved significantly more pleasant and was the result on par with the Gilette razor.
The price difference is enormous, which is why I will give in the future probably the Shave Lab preference. Maybe I please complete this test even if I know how many shaves join in a blade, which is negligible when the blade price. From the same manufacturer incidentally are also the private label razors at Rossmann and Aldi, of SHAVE LAB itself is just a nicer razor.
