This is encouraging for my battered surveys. The instructions say that one should make a circular motion. Accustomed from razor blades I first put on my tracks from top to bottom and realize: the Philips Shaver Series 9000 is not better than my razor blades. Then it occurs to me that I have always had my problems in geometry and go to ride on in circles over my face. Lo and behold, the Philips milled away everything that gets in your way. And I feel it quite gentle on the skin and I wonder when the item comes with the ice cube bag. Now I try the pinnacle: My mole on the right side of his chin. The handkerchief is ready. Test Dry shave:

Two days later: I want my sensitive skin sometimes undergo dry shaving. The procedure is absolutely the same as in the wet shave, just without foam. Cleaning and maintenance:

In the Guide 3 different types of purification are described, of which I have previously tried two.
1) Cleaning with water
I pull off the beard Tyler unit and hold it just under lukewarm water. The little hair that still hung in the interdental spaces of the head, take turns easily. The shears unit I try to open by light train to the top. This succeeds me with a bit of effort. There are already here out a lot of hair. The rest I get by easily cleaned, wash with lukewarm water. Then I put both to dry on the sink and'm done. Philips recommends the way to oil the Bart Tyler every 6 months with sewing machine oil. But that is really the only maintenance work that I have to accept manually.
2.) Thorough cleaning
Thorough cleaning is different from the normal only in so far that it breaks down the wiper assembly into its component parts and these washes individually even under the water. That sounds like a lot of work. I myself have not tried it. I have only times replaced one of 3 scissors on schedule (it's easy counter-clockwise with the safety ring holder). And this went very smoothly.
3.) Cleaning the Smart Clean System
My absolute favorite. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a real techie and I must say in all honesty that I am the Smart Clean System has convinced. The Philips Shaver Series 9000 has really won me over. In short I would like to summarize the positive aspects, but also my criticisms again:
Positives:
- Total sophisticated purification system that is not only cleanses but also dries, loads, and the maintenance is carried out

- Choice between dry and wet shaving

- Waterproof shaver can be used in the shower

Negatives:
- The price of 450 Euro is quite high for a razor
- When washing the razor scissors unit runs sometimes full of water, so you have to shake out the razor once correctly before it continues with shaving
- The removal and placement of the towers is sometimes a bit tedious
- The drying time of 4 hours is really just in the cleaning process at night practicable
- Less time for hobbies because family members now often depend on the freshly shaven cheek
