It is often claimed that a different brand with a flying goose and red cover was the sharpest, but also those we have often tried (because this brand is exclusively available at most Asian stores, we find that often to friends and relatives before -and when Huy Fong is not to get back with us once, we grab grudgingly goose with the red cap) and can confirm that only in exceptional cases. When the sharpness varies greatly and often it is not enough to Huy Fong zoom -sometimes it is about on par (hard to tell because the goose sauce heavily thickened and thus not identical to dose and is treated with glutamate), sometimes it is also so far below that they pur just has the sharpness that is supposed to get all the food ...
The Huy Fong sauce varies only slightly in the reliably good sharpness -da this comes only from the fact processed chillies and not from any added concentrates, fluctuations are inevitable, but at controlled chili quality they can precisely keep under.
But what the best thing about this sauce is: it has a pleasantly fresh, fruity, natural chili flavor, which is due not least to the waiver (in such sauces completely unnecessary) taste "amplifier". It is simply the most delicious!
The consistency is just the case very well, the sauce is not too thick in relation to many of the competing product. It can be dosed well, easy to insert in sauces, marinades, soups, spread on the bread, the lid will not clog ... Nevertheless, they must not be shaken at regular use.
o a point but you should still highlight: the Huy Fong Sriracha is (like many others) topped off with a little garlic. Who bothers to it, so you have to look at the market companions.
In general I prefer sauces of this type that can easily relate your focus from the 70-80% chilis, some expensive, super sharp, produced with the aid of concentrates and extracts sauces from chilli head shops. Although you can still produce from Habaneros & Co. also naturally sharper sauces, but not at the price!
These sauces are so inexpensive that you take simply more of it and still save.
If we even get Huy Fong again here locally in Asia-Shop, then for quite cheap 4.50 for 740ml (793g) bottle (in other shops rather 5,49..6,79). The prices in the Austrian market are so really good, if you buy the big bottle.
