For first impressions, this silicone grease "Carlube" fulfills its role: the ink does not rush into the threads of the fountain pen and did not escape.
The lubricant is slightly opaque, but not really white; medium consistency (neither liquid nor frankly consistent). As an ointment rapidly recovering its transparency and a proper viscosity when applied. I did not notice any particular-greasing too difficult to remove. In addition, it is odorless. Which is not negligible.
I took the opportunity to lubricate the threads of other fountain pens, inappropriate mode "eye dropping". Coarser threads have fled, though use with standard cartridges. I hope not to meet this kind of inconvenience in the future.
Meanwhile, it's nice to not hear squeaking noises when the screwing. Everything is going smoothly and I feel as a phenomenon of good adhesion, a sealing.
For now, this silicone grease suitable for use as I do. A 20g tube should last a good time! I only regret the total lack of composition on packaging.
