The problem is a little hardware itself, and especially especially the service at which the product is linked (usable only on the online platform home comfort).
Start with the B BA: detection of alerts / Motion / Intrusion:
* This is a REQUIRED feature: if you not only perderiez time, but the more you should pay well to ask Home Comfort permanently store videos taken, assuming that it is easy to take videos continuously (not applicable)
* This is a functionality which does not really work: in maximum sensitivity, even if nothing happens, you have virtually alerts as soon as the previous one is finished (5 min max recording). The cursor at the right level below, you not only have still too many false alarms, but also when there is really present, it takes sometimes too to trigger the alert (risk that the camera is unplugged before detected something). I spent at least two compared to the maximum: if I can get a warning of presence is that I'm lucky ...
* Since the unit sometimes takes time to react, he should have a minimum internal memory images 10 seconds before transmitting them in an emergency. It's called a "buffer" I just saw that some competitors do. There is nada: when an alert with low reactivity, you do not understand what happened ...
* Finally, to come to understand how it works, it takes time and it is not within the reach of everyone.
The site of the online tracking platform, in a nutshell:
Austere *
* Not Secure HTTPS, or rather two HTTP and HTTPS versions and features that bugguent when you're on the HTTPS version (like moving the camera)
* The connection between the camera and the browser does not really done by the site: it incorporates an area where your camera's external image is displayed, for direct connection between your browser and camera. Looking more closely, I do not see how dispel my doubts about safety and more with the mobile Internet cumulative non-standard ports, hard to be sure it happens ...
* Accessible to ONLY sure when you are connected to the same network as the camera, otherwise ... For some box, it seems that it can work live for others, sometimes you have knowledge worthy of a network technician ( I know something), to secure the camera image outside home. Their website does not relay (that would be too easy), I had to make openings / port forwarding on my bbox. I would have preferred not to have to talk to you "technician", but this is really a plague ...
In short, a big, big fail. The product is expensive, yet it is difficult to set even when one is rather in the 5% of people who quickly comprenent what is technological. And the features, it is also very disappointing.
