Too much plastic in the wrong places

The machine makes the reason everything just as you want it. It is easy to use and the result is in my opinion much better than what you would get machine "easier" by a. But it took a few days until I got the result I expected. Now I really liked the coffee very good and I'm happy, but having to buy any capsule machine = garbage spin (the result of the Nespresso capsules I could with my old machine portafilter not reach by far).

However, there is at the XP5210 also things I do not like:
- Excessive use of plastic.
- The machine actually stinks the first few days when using terrible. But that has improved significantly already after one week.
- The Krups Tamping System is already an enigmatic invention and it is not clear why we need so many moving parts in the filter holder. In particular, I find that plastic has no business there! There is a cavity under the filter holder, which is not accessible, but can get into the coffee and coffee powder.
