So far (Updates follow) I'm super happy. I can so far still not to indicate the phone quality, because I still have no suitable simcard but everything else very well. The exterior design of the device is absolutely appealing. It is wertig processed (no gaps or not plane located display, etc.) and is sensationally good in the hand. I initially had a little afraid of the size, since I have rather small and dainty hands, but you get used to it very quickly. In a regular pocket, it fits well, even though I (at least currently) anyway constantly holding it in your hand ..;)
The display is 4.7 inches with really big and the color rendering a dream. Black and white levels are great, if you read books / texts or look at photos, it's just fun. The quality of the photos and videos that you can do with this phone are also perfectly adequate. It really created beautiful snapshots, even under poor conditions, where you can enjoy simply. Who needs more than that, because, for example, want to enlarge the photos later to multiples, etc., which is at the HTC ONE have no joy. For all others: more than adequate and fun bringing. The Zoey function has already been mentioned many times, it makes it possible, among other things photos creatively -einem- short video pack up & is a nice gimmick on the edge.
Operation is intuitive and easy excellent and fast. Responds to each wiper and prediction, even in games. Since everything is twice as much fun. :-)
Boom sound MMN its name absolutely fair. The already included music tracks run with me up and down and it is a real pleasure to listen there. With tinny that has nothing to do. Once off as compared BeatsAudio - in short .. not recommended: D to the supplied headphones, I can currently say anything because I still had no reason "quietly" to hear the music.
Contrary to many opinions and Bedenkungen others, I lack the "regular" softkey Homebutton -nicht-. With the two existing buttons (Back & Home), the one operated only on the screen, you got along wonderfully. The many criticisms about the only 3 existing homescreens I can not share mandatory. But That may be because I have never been so obsessed with a smartphone. Certainly another or even more homescreen would have been nice, but should 3s with one well come cope.
The fact that there are only 3 homescreens is "Blink Feed" in debt. To this end, we can say that I find this feature cool & practical, that I will at all times and centralizing information on the latest happenings in world history. Since you can specify that the update news only when you are in Wi-Fi, and not worry about too much consumed data volume you need to make. Moreover, only the headline and an image / video thumbnail to load on the home page anyway. Who wants to know more, click only when needed it and learn more. Too bad I find at Blink Feed only that it is the user not possible to manually add pages. Although the ranges currently available offer for my needs, but I can well imagine that it could be boring for one or the other for a time. With the latest update at least also Instagramm & Facebook now been added.
The few days ago appeared Android update ("Jelly Bean") has furthermore also removes various other blemishes. It is the user now also possible to see the battery indicator in percent on the home screen or to go through a single wiping gesture on a shortcut to the settings, and much more ..
For battery I can only say that he (so far) still goes well. I invite me at the time many apps downloaded, games 2h / day, write "trial basis" many SMS, play with the language function around, surf the Internet, watch videos, listen to music, shoot photos, read the flashing feed, play to the settings rum, etc .. and the battery lasts on average: 1 day, 2 hours and a bit. Then I arrived at 1%. Not used to the phone, saying it is from (power saving mode to) and looks just now and plan to see the time to update the Blink Feed or view the weather, the mobile consumes to one hour as a%. How do I find a good value.
One more thing to conclude that bothers me a bit is that you can mitdiktieren no punctuation when writing SMS via voice input. That can then unfortunately but Apple clearly better. As I read, but there is also here an app called "Swype" that will counteract the whole. Will update this regard in the next few weeks again. Just as for the alarm clock and calendar function and other features that I could now have just forgotten.
All in all, for the moment, but a strong buy recommendation. :-)

Now just over 2 months have passed since I own the HTC One and I still love it. Finally, I can also say something about the phone quality, which is in fact properly and also alarm clock and calendar function to act as they should. Fine, that registered in any calendar appointments appear in the flashing feed! Very convenient!
Another word on battery performance: On average, the phone holds 1 1/2 days with me. Often even 2 1/2. In very (!) Heavy use good 18h and thus it survived even a normal working day, perfect!
Here also, as promised a quick update to APP "Swype". With this it is possible punctuation (period, exclamation mark, comma, brackets, etc ..) mitzudiktieren. A trial version is available for free for 30 days and really more than worth visiting. Thus, the speech input is fun again! After that they will charge. Who does not want the app throws down again and invites you again. But then go Pre-registered words (APP learns with) lost.
A not insignificant point, I would like to take this opportunity to add even. Mir is the phone 2 times, 3 times out of his pocket (sitting) from approximately one meter in height has been dropped and nothing happened! No scratches, nothing. So the mobile phone already holds out a lot!
