With "The Idiot" has probably delivered his most controversial album Iggy Pop. That same year, the fresh, life-affirming "Lust for Life", which "The Idiot" is the exact opposite appeared. It's bleak, melancholy, somehow sad. The individual songs are relatively long, it will be great emphasis on slowness. I like the album at the right time better than "Lust for Life", but that is, as implied, heavily dependent on my mood. "Dum Dum Boys" is my favorite piece, perfect for a foggy Monday morning.
