In airtight devices entry, there is not much competition: basically, there is the Fuji XP60 and this one. I finally chose this one for my daughter. After the test, it is not bad at all. It is very light, and is supplied with an external battery charger, which allows multiple batteries. Very good image quality, I've seen worse on the entry. Tested studio (! I am well equipped), I saw that it is not necessary to use 16 megapixel setting: with 10 MP, the image provides much detail while taking up less space . Note that the photos lack a little contrast, but it is easily corrected afterwards. The video in 720P is correct too. Naturally, the quality deteriorates quickly in low light, and the flash is not very powerful. It is best suited to outdoor pictures. In terms of ergonomics, it is okay too. the buttons on the back are too small for me, and menus for Panasonic are not completely clear, but there are not many available settings, then it's going! Overall this is a good choice for a tight unit, stronger than a normal camera better suited to a child not very careful and outdoor activities ... Note: not tried under water for now.
