LA Noire (uncut) - [PlayStation 3] (Video Game)

Customer Review

LA Noire, the latest blockbuster Rockstar Games, is a huge project with decent playing time and some great features.
Most of the Games consists of identifying, investigating crime scenes and interrogations, as well as car chases and shootouts. This is the accuracy of some responses of suspects, which can often be determined by the extremely great motion capture technology, partly to easy, but partly also misleading and somewhat difficult.

The choice of the main character was good, Cole Phelps is a charismatic detective who was hired by Aaron Staton, the facial expressions, gestures and voice.
The story is okay, but (for me) at some points incomprehensible, I was able to follow her not really in some places. This has to do also with the many reading the subtitles, as only English is available, and mine is not as mature to play without subtitles ...
Motivating the side missions are (street crime and collecting golden reel), which provide variety.
Acoustically a one time matching, great soundtrack for each circumstance is offered, in the car gets you even hear the original radio broadcasts from the postwar period!

Negative to chalk are the somewhat monotonous searches at crime scenes and the occasional quirks (both gameplay and graphics), but (usually) not great consequence. As mentioned, it is also a pity that we have only the original language and, if necessary, must be content with subtitles.

The game as a whole is rather a film with many interactions, less dynamic and rather built on voltage. Potential buyers who expect some sort of GTA's successor, so could be disappointed.

To sum up: Good, worth it!
