Popcorn Love Stories

There is indeed the scenario that some are with a person together / married, and yet inwardly also love another person with whom you would possibly have been happy.

But who would leave because his partner, only to an old - just possibly lucky - affair visit again. Actually, so does something nobody. And here it makes the film in my opinion a bit too easy, as both protagonists are betrayed by their current partners. The man's wife is pregnant by another man does. There is of course not difficult to shoot the respective partner in the wind and to return to his high school sweetheart.

Then you can stop the movie comfortably and fall asleep with his girlfriend happy in spoon position.

Interestingly I found, however, sometimes a movie in which the antagonists were a bit better. What if both had not been deceived? What if the blonde protagonist of IHM was pregnant? Would he leave a pregnant woman, just because he can not forget his childhood sweetheart? That could go for a stage, as it breaks the protagonists between the responsibility towards the children and the tendency towards early love inside ...
But no, the partners are as bitches (the blonde) or unsympathetic Schluffies (partners of women) and presented as if the rich do not go even two foreign. And even at the same time!

And one more thing: The young girl Rosie gets a scholarship to a "super great" university in Boston. But then comes the positive pregnancy test, which is staged as bad something like a positive HIV test. Then she does the following:
* She says her childhood sweetheart None
You live with your parents for at least another 5 years (!!!)
You studied not in these 5 years! (In England it is but also give great universities ... ???)
* It does not say the father of the child that there is a child (the unsymphatische Schluffi, the alien comes later)

In the film there is an action jump over these 5 years, and a clear message:
1 - Either you go to the USA as a single, studied at Harvard, is rich and unhappy
2 - Or you stay in the home (somewhere in UK), not studying, Mommy will remain poor but happy

And all other possibilities between these two extremes are completely hidden.
