Presentation:
The cards are stylishly illustrated and give the players directly a certain visual appeal. This often plays an important role, as for example, scraps of paper over time can be very bland and reduce the motivation of the group. The maps are a good size and are fixed shuffled and dealt.
Instructions:
A big plus is the included Instructions. Here not only tips for GM and players will be given, but also proposed pre-game variants for different sizes of groups. This can prepare a well-balanced game the game master quickly. If the GM takes a little time, he will receive in the guide useful information and inspiration for an exciting game.
Characters:
The game contains a lot of characters, partly in different styles. The only thing I'm missing here, the "winking girl", which in my opinion is an important and exciting character. But that's not a problem because the contained Blank cards make it possible to write your own characters.
Toll is also indicated on each card balance value that specifies how strong the respective character takes effect on the odds of the "evil" or "good" teams. Here the GM can therefore roughly estimate whether it is a fair game.
Fun:
"Werewolves" is a very exciting game for both large and small playgroups. Much more important than the size of the group for the fun factor the player itself. From my own experience as a director, I can say that "werewolves" is not suitable as a drinking game. The game has a certain degree of discipline and especially lust. Nothing is worse than a "village" of bawling or demotivated "residents". It often takes 3-4 games until newcomers recognize the value in this game and the interesting situations and difficult decisions that arise in the course. The GM should already bring some experience or otherwise prepare something in the optimal case. It is to a great extent in his hand if the game is interesting or not. He should put assertiveness, a good memory and discretion to the day in order to guarantee the highest game.
Conclusion:
The game features a large number of character cards and especially important tips and game variations. The game depends for the most part of the players from! In a group of 8 to 16 motivated players and an imaginative director really exciting, exhausting game sequences and situations may arise, which are the highlight of the event.
