The printed manual "Quick Start Quide" is something turned out very thin, especially when assembling the stand is something described short and I must here agree to the reviews, that does not look good impression, even if it works then somehow - and also (same kind) holds. Let's see what is stronger in the long run: The holder or gravity.
When done with the pedestal, then connect the cables is done quickly (2x HDMI, Scart, DVI, Audio out optical and analog ....).
At the start of the appliance, the Setup program (batteries are included) with the remote control comes is simple to operate.
The menu for all other settings is structured logically, you will find everything you need.
The picture is really good, clearly are not 23 inches huge, but I knew that ahead of time and enough for me to size. I have the DVD HD recorder connected via HDMI to 1080 and the picture is awesome. The TV reception is also very good (which the picture quality terms), also playing purchased DVD gives an excellent image.
That with the sound was me before buying already clear - but seriously: Where should it be space for a few large boxes with sound volume at such a shallow unit - the time of CRT TVs once is now over and have since all flat-panel televisions a problem if you had not bought what with built-in Bose systems, but certainly no longer lies then in this price range. But the tone is on the Samsung but even ('ve already committed to a horrible and unbearable croaking), but when playing DVD or HDD the tone with me now comes directly through the stereo system (and here comes anyway at hardly any TV speakers against. ..) and in TV, I use either the recipient of the HDD recorder (sound then also on stereo) or conclude an adapter via the analog audio output (left of the unit, behind a flap) the stereo on. And who an optical audio input has at its amplifier: At the back there is an optical output for this purpose.
My Conclusion: For the money, you really can not expect more, I would buy it again, only with the pedestal and the user manual (That may be all on the enclosed DVD or CD, but a little more explanation would be good) gives me a star deduction.
