Thrillers I've read this summer is definitely the best! I liked the plot and the ratio of Martial (main character) and other actors. Moreover once the fall is not so preposterous it is a very good thriller, well written and taking to the end. By cons I do not see why it took the prize for best "historical thriller" because apart from the references to the "big" war and a draft of the living conditions in the early twentieth century there are not too of "history" in this novel ... which does no harm.
