The plate came today via PIN AG in two Amazon Typical flat package into the mailbox. Without traceability, I find it a bit daring!
The plate itself is dependent on me at one USB3.0 adapter, but is installed later in a Intel_NUC.
After commissioning, the peculiar, occurring sporadically completely Fiep / beeping noises are immediately noticed. Sometimes the coming several times a minute, after a quarter of an hour no sound, even at capacity utilization.
So far I could find absolutely no relation to the utilization of noise or power management of the plate.
If someone experiences or even data loss with his record has please report times. Unfortunately I was not able to figure out
whether the noise is an indication of poor quality or is ignorable. I'm more reports if there is something new.

I use the disk (even if it is not made for it), and have now found the optimum setting for me in continuous operation under Linux. By default APM is disabled in the plate. After I put on 254 with hdparm -B parked the drive only after the set spin-down time (hdparm -S 120) with me for 10 minutes. The peculiar Fiep / beep I have only heard about so every 2 days ago. Also interesting is the the Load_Cycle_Count the board is increasing by 28 per hour in the delivery state. After my attitude he has fallen to 8 per hour.
